Some of you have expressed interest in taking the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation, but found that coming to Los Angeles, California for the extended period needed to take the class was not possible. We have developed, and released in June 2005, the Accelerated Meditation Program (AMP).
AMP provides essentially the same teachings as the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation, but is available by mail. It includes a workbook, compact disks with guided meditations, and a personalized reading that includes your transformational and contemplative mantras. A comparison of the two programs and the contents of the AMP are shown below.
The Accelerated Meditation Program was developed to address the needs of those seekers and students of meditation who, because of reasons of distance or infirmity, cannot take the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation in person.
It became clear to us that much of the material that is covered in the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation could be taught as a distance learning program, provided that a reading could be done to make an attunement with the seeker or meditation student. Since this could be readily done from a mailed or e-mailed photograph sent by the student, the major barriers to a distance learning program seemed to be surmountable.
To do the more advanced work of meditation covered in the Mudrashram® Correspondence Course and the Satsang Program Home Study Course, aspirants need to have a familiarity with several key concepts. They further have to develop the ability to contact the spiritual essences of attentional principle, spirit, and Soul, and to be able to awaken and unfold these essences. They further need to do this work under the Grace and Protection of Master Teachers so they do can it correctly and safely.
The Accelerated Meditation Program is broken into four modules.
Module One is the starting point for this course. Aspirants may study module one and then take additional modules after that module has been studied for one month, or they may elect to study the complete course. There are cost savings for ordering the course as a unit.
Comparing the elements of the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation with those of the Accelerated Meditation Program, you will see that there are some components that are unique to each training course, and some that are shared. These are described below.

(1) The Mudrashram® Prayer is now being made available to those who have taken the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation as an auxiliary course handout.
(2) This information is available on our web site, http://www.mudrashram.com.
(3) The Kundalini Yoga technique is not taught through distance learning because an adept in this practice must personally supervise its use. Information about kundalini awakening is provided. Those who wish to learn this technique may request it as a follow up phone or video consultation, for which there is an additional charge
Once this core work of Integral meditation presented in Module One has been learned and assimilated through study and practice, it will then be possible for the aspirant to obtain and utilize other aspects of the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation through additional distance learning study modules.
A compact disk is included with Module One and Module Three.

These instructions are for the by-mail version of the course. You may now take this course on line with video instruction for a slight increase in cost. If you take the online version, you may also take your final exam on line.
After going through the entire course, the student fills out the final exam and mails it back to Mudrashram Publishing, Post Office Box 1424, San Jacinto CA 92581-1424.
[Alternately, some students have typeset their exam and sent it back to us by email. If you wish to do this, please email it to private@mudrashram.com.]
We will review your final exam. If you score above 70%, you will be sent a certificate of completion. We then will schedule a phone consultation (we call you) or a video consultation (you will need to have a video camera, a microphone and an account on Skype to do this). During this consultation, we go over the three key methods of Integral meditation—transformational mantra, Nada Yoga and Raja Yoga, and answer your questions about the course.
For $35.00 additional, you may also obtain the training in awakening the Kundalini Shakti. We insist on supervising you when you do this technique so you will learn to do it properly. This consultation may be done with the review of the key meditation techniques or at another scheduled session.
To request an application packet for AMP, you may email us at
